Classes will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 10th at 6:00 PM in the hall. Class title is “Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible” by Jeff Cavins. This is an 8 week course. There is a $30 fee for class materials. Please sign up no later than August 24th.

Classes will begin on September 21st. If you haven’t already done so, we ask that you sign up your students as soon as possible. This will enable the purchase of PRE supplies needed for classes. Volunteers are still needed as teachers. Both signup sheets are located in the foyer. Teachers meeting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7, parents meeting will be held on Sept. 14, both immediately following mass.
Will be held during PRE class on Oct. 5th. This is a safety program class required for all PRE students.
Adoration will be held Thursday evenings
at 6:00 PM
OCIA with Father Joe will be held on Sunday's at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited to attend.
MEMORIAL AND HONORARIUM FLOWERS FOR THE ALTAR
Special collections will be for flowers on Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas. Make a $20.00 donation towards purchasing flowers for the Altar in honor of or in memory of someone. Forms for these occasions are available in the foyer on the desk.
Other times of the year, you can donate an arrangement(s) in memory of or in honor of someone by contacting the Petal Shoppe in White Hall at 870-247-2206 and order whatever you like. Make sure you tell them you are a Holy Cross member and receive a considerable discount. The Petal Shoppe will bill Holy Cross and Holy Cross will then bill you. We will post your memorarium / honorarium in the next month’s bulletin, unless you prefer us not to.
St. Edward’s Catholic Church at 805 Sherman Street in Little Rock has been established as a diocesan shrine of Divine Mercy. Bishop Taylor stated: “This shrine will be at and will serve as a place of pilgrimage, adoration and reconciliation”. Plans call for Eucharistic exposition and adoration to take place at 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday and at 3:00 PM – the hour of mercy – on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The sacrament of reconciliation will be available in English and in Spanish every day during adoration except Monday. Additional information regarding the shrine can be found on St. Edwards Catholic Church web page or at www.dolr.org.
